About Me

I like problems. Seriously. With every problem comes an opportunity for an intellectually challenging solution. Have you ever seen someone stub their toe repeatedly on the same piece of furniture? I view coding as a way to "move the furniture."

Problem:

  • Two people can't agree on a movie to watch.
Solution:
  • Enter the creatively named "Movie vs Movie", a way to hand the problem to an impartial piece of software. After a few questions considering viewing preferences, a movie is chosen. The "furniture" is moved.

Experience: Years of work in the music and film industries have taught me the art of patient troubleshooting, collaboration with large teams of diverse skill sets, and the value of an innovative solution. Resourcefulness is key.

Idiosyncrasies: Cat dad. Raspberry Pi enthusiast. Retro games. Punk rock. Jazz. Indie flicks. Hikes with my girlfriend. Frequent quoting of Simpsons dialogue. Cross stitching - it's like the original pixel art!
